HOUSTON, TX (WCMH) — Someone took vandalism to a whole new level in Houston, when they caused the flashing hand to look like it was flipping people the middle finger.
According to KTRK, the “Don’t Walk Signs” were painted over so the hand would give the obscene gesture.
Some people passing by the sign found it funny, while others were disappointed. Kinsla Glasgo has a hair salon near the sign. “If they start defacing any form of property they may just work their way around to this way.”
The City Public Works Department told KTRK, this isn’t the first time this has happened, and it usually takes about an hour to repair, depending on the damage.
