TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Beach Tampa is scheduled to close Thursday. The interactive art piece opened Aug. 5 at the Amalie Arena.
The “beach” is 15,000 square feet. It includes 1.2 million recyclable balls. The beach is not without “shoreline.” The shoreline includes a hut, beach chairs and umbrellas.
Mirrored walls enclose the sea of books.
Entry is free. If you’re interested in going before The Beach Tampa closes, walk-up tickets are still available.
The Beach Tampa opens Monday – Thursday at 12 p.m. and remains open until 8 p.m.
