Nehwal stunned: World's #5 women's player eliminated in huge upset

In the biggest upset of the day so far, India’s Saina Nehwal was knocked out of the competition by Ukraine’s Maria Utilina in a straight 2-0 match sweep, 21-18 and 21-19.  Sehwal is ranked 5th in the world while Utilina is ranked 61st. After the match, Nehwal told reporters that she had inflammation in her right knee which limited her mobility. However, Utilina was outstanding, showing incredible skill and agility to get points out of nothing. She will now move on to the round of 16 tournament while Nehwal is left wondering what could have been.
