Home Depot recalling patio chairs due to possible injury hazard

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Home Depot is recalling about 265,000 patio chairs because they can reportedly break and cause injuries.

The Hampton Bay Fall River swivel dining and lounge chairs were sold in pairs or as a part of patio sets, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. They were sold at stores and online from October 2012 until January 2015.

The affected products come with both red or green cushions.

So far, there have been more than 400 reports of the chairs breaking and at least 16 people have been injured.
