RIO 2016: WFLA Paul Ryan in Rio, Day 8

News Channel 8’s Paul Ryan is in Rio de Janeiro for the Olympics. He wants to show you what it’s like there. He’ll be snapping photos and shooting video of the people he meets and the places he visits.

On Monday, Paul started with a little water polo? He managed to spend some time watching as France and Italy competed. He returned a short time later to watch Team USA and Spain as the two squared off in water polo.

He was excited to check out some women’s fencing! ‪#‎TeamUSA‬ Mariel Zagunis destroys Panama’s Eileen Grench 15-4.

How about some judo? Paul was able to stop into the Olympic venue as Cuba took down Czechoslovakia.

He also has plans to be there as the women’s 200m individual medley gets underway! Tampa’s Melanie Margalis is swimming in heat 3.
