Paul at the Rio Olympics: Aug. 2

RIO DE JANEIRO (WFLA) — News Channel 8’s Paul Ryan is in Rio de Janeiro for the Olympics. He wants to show you what it’s like there. He’ll be snapping photos and shooting video of the people he meets and the places he visits.

On Tuesday, Paul visited what might be the most well known landmark in Rio, the famous Christ the Redeemer statue.

Paul also visited the world-famous Selaron Steps on Tuesday. There’s an amazing story about the steps and how they were created.

Paul also visited Copacabana Beach, which is the home of the Olympic Beach Volleyball events in the Olympics.
