St. Pete Beach gas leak repaired

ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — A gas leak that prompted the evacuation of a St. Pete Beach neighborhood has been repaired.

St. Pete Beach firefighters responded to the leak around 10:30 a.m.

Construction crews hit a gas line at Pass A Grille Way and 28th Ave SB.

Pass A Grille Way was closed near the Don CeSar hotel until the gas leak was capped. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.

No injuries were reported.
