Parkour For Kids

Parkour is a sport that requires you to use your body to safely and efficiently help yourself and others overcome obstacles in your environment. Parkour can include obstacle courses, running, climbing, swinging, mantling, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement, and more. Shinobi Poli, a nationally certified parkour instructor who has appeared on “American Ninja Warrior”, TRUtv’s “Guinness World Records Gone Wild”, and in the upcoming “Ultimate Beast Master” teaches children parkour at The Shinobi School. He says children can benefit from learning parkour, because it helps develop a foundation of gross motor skills, coordination, strength, and confidence while navigating the environment.
