Summer camps are expensive! Ellie Hirsch’s kids have 6 camps under their belts so far this summer. To save money, and ensure that her children have a memorable summer, Ellie, AKA “The Mommy Master” came up with the idea for a “Mommy Camp.” She says it’s a great, cost-effective way to spend time with your kids (and keep them entertained).Ellie’s tips include:
Create a “Mommy Camp” schedule (like this one).
Put in the effort to put together a fun schedule that works for everyone.
Similar to a real camp, divide up the day with activities, snacks, field trips, play dates, etc.
Work in quiet/rest time, which gives the kids downtime and you time to catch up on things as well.
Remember, you don’t have to spend a lot of money and you don’t even have to leave the house some days.
