PASCO COUNTY, FL (WFLA) — The right and middle lanes are now closed on I-75 northbound about three miles north of SR 52, exit 285, due to a depression in the roadway.
Florida DOT says inspections Tuesday night resulted in the decision to close the middle lane Wednesday morning. The right lane had been closed since Saturday.
Repairs started Wednesday and will continue until completed. The Florida Department of Transportation said Thursday crews experienced a setback because “material that was pumped to fill the void had not hardened enough.” The lanes will not be open Friday morning.
Officials plan to provide an update mid-morning Friday.
With just one of three northbound I-75 lanes open in this area, drivers can expect delays all day in southern and central Pasco County leading up to the work zone.
