TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Storms hit the Tampa Bay area Tuesday.

In Clearwater fire crews responded to 313 Magnolia Drive. Officials received a call around 10 p.m. about a blaze at that residence, which may have been caused by lightning.

Everyone inside the home escaped. No one reported injuries.

“The fire appears contained mainly to the roof and attic areas,” officials said.

Motorists in Clearwater should avoid Glenmoor Road North near Glenmoor Court because of a report of a downed tree. In addition, there is standing water at Myrtle Avenue and Druid Road, and at State Road 60 near McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater. The standing water is due to Tuesday’s heavy rains, officials said.
