PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A Pinellas County woman left her two toddlers alone at home for over two hours.
Deputies said Patrice Gray left the 3-year-old and 4-year-old home alone for the first hour.
A bystander returning home and noticed the children wondering outside of the house. As the toddlers were about to enter the street form their driveway, the bystander approached them.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office affidavit, the children told the bystander “they could not find the defendant and they were hungry.”
The bystander then arranged for the children to be picked up by another family member.
Deputies said Gray did not return home for about another hour, after the children were discovered.
It is unclear how long the toddlers were left alone for in total.
