Places to shop and save on 4th of July

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Independence Day can only mean one thing, incredible savings from your favorite stores! Plus hot-dogs and fireworks of course.

According to WalletHub, the average household spends $370.75 on Fourth of July festivities. That’s a lot of money you could be making savings on.

Up to 97 percent of discounts are available for 4th of July sales, according to Fourth of July 2016 Deals Report from WalletHub.

WalletHub compared discounts from 21 U.S. retailers. The total came to 370 items to save on, amounting to $63,000.
