Lane reopens lane on I-75 NB, depression repaired

UPDATE: All repairs to the depression under the right lane of northbound I-75 approaching Fowler Avenue (Exit 265) have been completed, the lane repaved, and all lanes are now open.

TAMPA, FL — The right lane remains closed on northbound I-75 approaching Fowler Avenue (Exit 265) due to a depression in the roadway. The lane is expected to remain closed until at least Tuesday afternoon — likely longer, according to DOT.

Drivers can expect very heavy delays, likely from the I-4 area to Fowler Avenue. The delays will be worse during the morning and afternoon peak commuting hours. Drivers may want to consider other routes to avoid the delays.

Crews have stabilized the void and need to wait until early Tuesday to complete filling it.

At this point, it cannot be determined when the roadway repairs can begin and when the pavement work will be completed and the lane reopened.
