TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – The Tampa-based Rough Riders will be hosting a blood drive to support the victims of the Orlando massacre shooting.

As communities throughout the country come together to support the victims and their families, the Rough Riders are doing their part to support the Tampa Bay community by hosting a blood drive at the Rough Riders Clubhouse, just south of Ybor City this upcoming Saturday.

“One of the Rough Riders organization’s core principles is to be a beacon of hope and support through difficult times,” the organization said in a press release.

The blood drive will take place on Saturday, June 25th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Rough Riders Clubhouse, 601 N. 19th Street, Tampa, FL 33605.

All blood donors will receive a free OneBlood T-shirt and a free wellness checkup, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.

“The Rough Rider organization felt that it was our duty to continue to show our community stewardship by supporting the victims and families of the Orlando mass shooting. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go to each person touched by this horrible event” said Jerry King, President of the Rough Riders organization.
