Making Smoothie Bowls

“Smoothie Bowls” turn an on-the-go drink into a sit-down meal or snack.

Isabel Reis Laessig with the blog “Family Foodies” explains that a smoothie bowl starts with a smoothie base (she made ours using plain yogurt and berries) topped with healthy extras such as:

  • almonds
  • chia seeds
  • strawberries
  • pineapple
  • clementines
  • trail mix
  • blueberries
  • raspberries
  • granola
  • coconut
  • chocolate chips
  • dried fruits
