3-year-old twin toddlers die in hot truck

(KTAL) — Louisiana’s Bossier City Police Department is investigating the deaths of a 3-year old boy and his twin sister who were found unresponsive Saturday afternoon inside a pickup truck parked at their home.

Neighbors tell police the children’s mother, who was home at the time, had contacted them saying she was looking for the children.

They found the children, identified as Oliver and Aria Orr, in the truck a short time later and called 911.

Fire department personnel transported the children to Willis Knighton-Bossier where they were both pronounced dead.

The investigation into this incident remains ongoing. Autopsies will be conducted to determine the cause of the death.
