Inmates help fill, distribute sandbags in Pasco County

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Pasco County Jail inmates helped fill sandbags Saturday in New Port Richey and Mitchell Park in preparation for the possible development of Tropical Storm Colin.

Inmates helped to give out 1,023 sandbags at the Mitchell Park sandbag distribution location. 192 filled sandbags were left at the site.

1,088 sandbags were given out at the Government Drive location. 15 filled sandbags were left at the site.
