Tampa girl, 14, found safe

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — The 14-year-old Tampa girl reported missing late Wednesday has been found and she is safe.

Meadow Dian Smith, 14, was reported missing at about 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of South Grady Av. and West San Nicholas St.

As a result of the missing child alert, Tampa Police received some tips about her possible whereabouts, and pursued the case through the night.

This morning at about 7:30 a.m., she was found on Davis Island in good condition. She has been reunited with her family.
