BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) –  Police in Bradenton are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the Chase Bank, located at 4915 Manatee Avenue East, at 11:12 a.m. on a report of a robbery.

According to police, the suspect entered the Chase Bank, implied a weapon and demanded currency.

The suspect fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Law enforcement canvassed the area but were not able to find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’08 – 6’00 in height, 160 – 180 pounds, dark hair with a receding hair line, wearing a white/black/blue plaid button down shirt and black shorts with a gray vertical stripe down each side. (
