(WFLA) Sports Authority is warning their customers that existing gift cards will expire next month. The retail chain recently announced they will be closing all of their 460 stores.

Sports Authority says gift cards will be honored through June 28, 2016. After June 28, customers will not be able to use any gift cards at stores or online. New gift cards are not for sale.

Sports Authority will close all 460 of its stores, with clearance sales running through the summer. The Englewood, Colorado-based company said it will start discounting sneakers, clothing and other goods this week, likely running sales until the end of August.

The company told the bankruptcy court that it plans to sell its store leases in an upcoming auction.

As of March, it had about 14,500 employees.
