CHATTANOOGA, TN (WFLA) – A man had to dismantle his car to rescue a little kitten that got stuck under the hood of his car.
WRCB reported that a local animal center in Chattanooga posted this story on their Facebook page. The McKamey Animal Center received a call that a driver stopped for coffee in Tiftonia while traveling from Alabama when he heard a kitten under his hood.
He couldn’t get it out and called McKamey Animal Service Officer Leslie Stokes for help. The two started taking the car apart piece by piece trying to get the kitten out.
When they still couldn’t rescue it, they called the local firefighters who performed an extraction and got the poor thing out. The driver thinks the cat got under the hood somewhere in Alabama.
The kitten is named Traveler and she will stay at the center until they can find her owner or get her adopted.
The center posted the images of the rescue on their Facebook page.
