“SpideyBolt” is a Tampa Bay Lightning super fan who is gaining social media fame for his posts and appearances as a Lightning-themed Spider Man. The anonymous local is using his growing fame for a good cause. Unaware of the power and impact it would have on younger Bolts fans, “Spidey” quickly realized there was responsibility in what he was doing, and decided to use his role for something bigger than himself. He started the “Good Luck Puck” campaign. “Spidey” collects puck donations (he’ll take used pucks, or he purchases new ones), and takes those pucks to hospitals, charity gatherings and other events for those in need of a pick-me-up. He says the puck is an unassuming item that symbolizes something tough that is able to withstand shots repeatedly without breaking. It embodies the type of courage that most people in struggling circumstances possess.
