YORK, Pa. (WFLA) — A Pennsylvania woman is in jail after pleading guilty to charges stemming from having loud sex, blasting loud music, and responding to a neighbor’s requests to quiet down with threats.

Amanda Marie Warfel, 25, pleaded guilty last week to disorderly conduct and harassment charges. She is in York County jail until June 20, and has one more count pending.

A neighbor, Tanya Saylor, told the York Daily Record that her family has dealt with the noise through their Red Lion rowhouse wall for two years. According to NBC affiliate KARE, she would need to give her children headphones when they went to bed.

Her five children range in age from 9 to 17-years old. The 17-year-old girl has cancer, according to KARE. Her husband is also terminally ill, the report states.

Saylor says when she asked Warfel to stop, Warfel called her daughters racial slurs and threatened them.

Police reports state Warfel described her sex acts loudly enough for the teenage girls to hear. The reports also say the Saylors’ furniture shook.

On March 21, Warfel was “loudly fornicating and banging around her bedroom to the degree that the victims’ dresser and her own bed shook,” documents state. A member of Saylor’s family knocked on the common wall, but Warfel yelled back and the noise became louder, documents state.

Saylor says that she regrets letting it go on for so long. “She harassed my kids for two years,” Saylor said, according to KARE’s report. “I should have started calling the police a year ago.”

According to KARE, the 17-year-old girl with cancer needed to be quarantined for 10 days after getting treatment, and during that time, Warfel had sex “non-stop, making sure that my daughter heard,” Saylor said.

Warfel’s criminal history includes drug, theft and assault charges.
