Fried Kale Salad


1 bunch kale

1 lime cut in half

4 tbl spn grated romono

 pinch or 2 of sea salt

1 qrt of your preferred frying oil


your favorite salad toppings…


in a medium sauce pan or pot heat oil to 350 degrees. do not use a frying pan as there is a lot of splatter because of the high water content in kale. if you have a home fryer you can use it but you may want to lower the oil level. wash and dry kale. you may want to do this the night before so the kale is nice and dry. if you have a stainless basket that fits you pan it makes it easy to remove the kale from the oil. drop the kale in hot oil and fry till sizzling has pretty much stopped. remove from oil and place gently in a bowl. add squeeze of lime juice , romono cheese and salt to taste. add your favorite toppings and enjoy !! provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
