ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) – Law enforcement authorities say they’re cracking down on aggressive driving along a stretch of Interstate 4 where three people recently died in crashes.

The Florida Highway Patrol and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office announced the crackdown on aggressive drivers began Friday. Over the first three days, deputies and troopers wrote 417 citations. They also made eight arrests and gave out 164 warnings.

Highway patrol spokeswoman Kim Montes says one of the I-4 crashes was caused by speed, the other by reckless driving.
