The 42nd edition of the annual Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In opens Tuesday with lots of new or improved features.
The France-based Breitling Jet team, the largest civilian jet team in the world, will perform Friday, Saturday and April 10.
The Fly-In will, of course, include all kinds of cool planes, including an F35-A.
And a pair of F/A-18 Super Hornets will show off.
Sun ‘n Fun’s huge campus is on the south side of Lakeland Linder Regional Airport.
The price for a daily adult ticket is $37, although Florida residents who come on Saturday will be allowed to visit free on Sunday. There are deep discounts for those who arrive after 5 p.m. The Fly-In profits go to educational opportunities and scholarships for kids who otherwise wouldn’t have the chance.
