Parking, free shuttle info for 2016 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg will be held Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13. Here’s everything you need to know about parking and the shuttle service.

FREE shuttle service to downtown for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

  • Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13
  • 7:00am – 10:00pm
  • Parking at Tropicana Field: $10
  • Coach buses and Trolleys will be providing the shuttle service.
  • Trolleys are equipped with a wheelchair lift.
  • Look for the red GRAND PRIX SHUTTLE sign in the windshield of all shuttle vehicles.

NEW parking location and shuttle stops for 2016

Parking location

  • Rays lot # 1 & # 2 only (between 16th St and 19th St / 3rd Ave S to 4th Ave S). Enter on 5th Ave S just west of 16th Street.

Shuttle Stops

  • 16th St just south of 3rd Ave S – same location as the Baseball Shuttle stop
  • 2nd St between 6th Ave S & 5th Ave S (Dali Blvd.)

The Downtown Looper Trolley will also be operating

  • Service hours are Friday & Saturday, 10am-midnight. Sunday 10am-5pm
  • Route and schedule information for the Downtown Looper Trolley at http://www.StPeteTrolley.com
  • The fare for the Looper is $.50 each time you board. For seniors, those that are disabled and Medicare cardholders the fare is $.25. Children 5 and under ride free. Exact change please.
