Missing Pinellas dementia patient found in Hillsborough

Metha Lydia Franco, 87, is missing.

UPDATE (2:30 p.m. Tuesday) —  Metha Franco was located in Hillsborough County by Florida Highway Patrol troopers.


GULFPORT, Fla. (WFLA) — Gulfport police are asking for help finding a missing dementia patient.

Metha Lydia Franco, 87, left a voicemail message for her daughter on Monday saying she was going to a doctor’s appointment, but never showed up.

Franco was driving her white, 2008 Buick Lucerne with Florida tag M107RT. She weighs 100 lb.s and is 5′ 1″ tall.

If you see her, call your local law enforcement agency or Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers at 727-893-1030.
