Roasted Oysters Serves 2
1 doz shucked Gulf oysters
6 oz unsalted butter (room temperature)
2 Tbsp Worcestershire
2 Tbsp Crystal Brand hot sauce
4 Tbsp blackening spice
½ cup green onion, finely chopped
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1 cup finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano
In a non-reactive mixing bowl, combine butter, Worcestershire, Crystal hot sauce, blackening spice and finely chopped green onions.
Cover and chill in refrigerator.
Mix bread crumbs and cheese together.
Place shucked oysters onto a metal pie pan.
Place a tablespoon of compound butter onto each oyster and top with a teaspoon of cheese mixture.
Bake at 425 degrees for 5-8 minutes.
