Miami police union wants to boycott Beyonce’s concerts

MIAMI, FL (WFLA) – The Miami police union wants law enforcement across the country to boycott Beyonce’s concerts, in response to her controversial Super Bowl performance.

The President of Miami’s Fraternal Order of Police accuses the singer of promoting an anti-police message, and he doesn’t want officers signing up to voluntarily work security at her concerts.

She is scheduled to perform in Tampa and Miami in April. The Tampa Police Department is making it clear it will fully staff her concert.

On Twitter, the department stated: “What?! @TampaPD officers have been in #formation for days signing up to keep the #Beehive safe! #Truth #Fact
