Third man arrested in Lakeland triple murder

MIAMI, Fla. (WFLA) – A US Marshals office caught and charged the third suspect in a January Lakeland triple murder.

Jamaal Smith, 25, was arrested Thursday evening. He’s charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery, armed robbery with a battery, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and tampering with evidence.

In early January, David Washington, 23, Eneida “Stacey” Branch, 31, and Angelica Castro, 23, were murdered. 

A week later two men, Andrew Joseph, 35, and Jonathan Alcegaire, 26, were charged in the case.
