TAMPA, FL (WFLA/WSPA) — Pizza lovers, it’s your day! Tuesday, February 9th marks National Pizza Day and to celebrate Pilot Flying J stores are giving away free slices.

Pilot Flying J says customers can get a free slice of their “unexpectedly awesome” fresh pizza for free when displaying this online coupon on Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. Limit one slice of pizza per customer with coupon. The pizza is prepared with a variety of toppings including pepperoni and sausage or vegetables.

There are several locations in the Tampa Bay are including off I-4 in Tampa, along SR 52 in Dade City, along Highway 27 in Haines City, off I-75 in Ellenton and more. Find a location near you.

More than 3 billion pizzas are sold in the US every year and that doesn’t even include the one billion frozen pizza sold annually, according to the National Day Calendar website. Americans eat about 23 lbs. of pizza per person each year.

If pizza isn’t your thing Tuesday, February 9 is also National Bagel Day. You can get a free bagel and schmear with any purchase at Einstein Bros. Bagels (click here for the coupon).
