Police searching for hit-and-run driver

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Police are on scene at a Tampa hit-and-run crash. The accident occurred at Rome Avenue N and Sligh Avenue W.

Witnesses said a red pickup truck struck a motorcycle and then continued traveling north on Rome. The make and model of the truck are unknown.

The motorcyclist is in stable condition after having been taken to the hospital as a trauma alert.
