TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — The blizzard blanketing the Eastern US is still affecting flights in Tampa Monday morning. There are several cancelled flights, including some heading to New York, Baltimore, and the Washington, DC areas.

Altogether, nearly 12,000 flights were cancelled over the weekend. Crews plowed runways and de-iced planes. Some flights were cancelled because of planes coming in from cities affected by snow.

If you’re planning to travel, check with your airline to find out whether its delayed.
