Jameis Winston named to Pro Bowl; Bucs quarterback replaces Tom Brady

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has been named to the 2016 Pro Bowl. He replaces Tom Brady, the New England Patriots quarterback.

“He is the first Buccaneers rookie to earn a selection since Doug Martin in 2012,” the team said in a statement.

Winston started all 16 games this season, throwing for 4,042 yards and 22 touchdown passes.

Linebacker Lavonte David, guard Logan Mankins, running back Doug Martin and defensive tackle Gerald McCoy are already on the Pro Bowl roster.
