PINSON, TN (WKRN) – The Chester County Sheriff’s Department said in a news conference late Thursday afternoon they found the body of missing 2-year-old Noah Chamberlin.

He was found near an area they’d been searching as they executed a grid-by-grid search on foot.

Authorities said they do not suspect foul play. They believe his death was an accident.

Police have said Noah was walking with his grandmother and 4-year-old sister in the woods behind his grandparents’ home when his grandmother lost sight of him. Law enforcement and volunteers have been searching constantly since Noah was reported missing almost a week ago.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
