TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – After a listeria outbreak, Blue Bell ice cream will be back in Tampa Bay area stores Monday.
Nine flavors will be available: Butter Crunch, Buttered Pecan, Coffee, Cookies ’n Cream, Dutch Chocolate, Homemade Vanilla, Natural Vanilla Bean, Pistachio Almond and The Great Divide.

The company’s ice cream was linked to listeria illnesses in four states, NBC News reports. In Kansas, three deaths have been linked to Blue Bell. After an April recall, the company had to decontaminate its plants, resulting in about a third of its employees being cut, according to NBC.
The FDA said Blue Bell had evidence of listeria as early as March 2013, The Associated Press reported. Yet, the company continued selling ice cream produced in a problematic plant.
