Fire damages RVs at Clearwater Travel Resort

CLEARWATER, FL (WFLA) – Three recreational vehicles were damaged at a Clearwater park by a fire Saturday night, according to Clearwater Fire Rescue.

The fire happened at the Clearwater Travel Resort located at 2946 Gulf to Bay Boulevard. When fire crews arrived, they found three vehicles on fire, one of them fully involved.

Firefighters contained the fire to those three RVs and put it out, preventing its extension to other vehicles. Ten units responded to the scene.

Fire officials didn’t release any information about any injuries. The blaze was ruled accidental due to an electrical short, according to Clearwater Fire and Rescue.
