Bucs interview Cardinals OC and Panthers DC for head coaching position

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) – Tampa Bay Buccaneers confirmed they are interviewing Arizona offensive coordinator and Carolina defensive coordinator for the team’s head coaching position.

The confirmation was posted on the team’s website Friday. It comes a day after the team dismissed its head coach of two seasons Lovie Smith.

The Buccaneers are interviewing Arizona’s Harold Goodwin and Carolina’s Sean McDermott for the job. Goodwin has been with Cardinals since 2013, McDermott has served as the Panthers’ defensive coordinator since 2011, according to the team’s website.
