Chick-Fil-A announces new side after cutting cole slaw

Chick-Fil-A wants to help you keep your New Year’s resolution to eat healthier. The fast-food chain will start offering what it calls a “superfood side” later this month.

It’s a blend of chopped kale and broccolini tossed in a maple vinaigrette dressing. It’s topped with dried sour cherries and comes with a blend of roasted nuts.

The gourmet side is sold in two sizes… A small costs $2.59 and contains 140 calories. The larger one will cost you $3.79. That size packs 170 calories. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
