COVINA, CA (WFLA) – A Domino’s Pizza delivery man was arrested after a fight and a stabbing over a late delivery, according to the Covina Police press release published via a notification service platform.
It happened before midnight Saturday. According to Covina Police, the victim, a 20-year-old man, was stabbed during a fight with the pizza delivery man. The men were fighting because the pie arrived late, and the delivery man stabbed the customer, officers said in their press release.
The victim got wounds to the wrist and neck area. He was treated on scene by the local fire department crews and taken to a trauma center. His injuries are non-life threatening.
Officers identified the suspect as Michael Charles Parker, 31. They arrested him at the pizza shot for an assault with a deadly weapon. He was released on $30,000 bond, according to Covina Police.
