Couple found dead in Manatee home

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – A double homicide is under investigation in Manatee County where a man and a woman were found dead in a multi-family home early Friday morning, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

The call about shots fired at 5700 11th St. East came in at about 6 a.m. When deputies responded to the location, they found two victims dead in a multi-family residential unit. According to MCSO, the victims had gunshot wounds.

Deputies identified the victims as Florence Randall, 31, and Demetrius Robinson, 37. The sheriff’s office said the victims were boyfriend and girlfriend.

A relative found the couple in the morning.

Officials believe the shooting was not random, and the gunman is still on the loose. Detectives continue to investigate.
