Teen shot, killed at North Tampa apartment complex

UPDATE: Kaliyah Ronell-Marquee Everett, 17, has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

PREVIOUS STORY: TAMPA, FL (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the murder of a 19-year-old male who was shot in North Tampa on Wednesday night.

Deputies say Tysaiah Christopher Williams Donaldson, 19, of Wesley Chapel, was shot around 7 p.m. outside the Oak Bend Apartment Complex, located in the 1700 block of University Woods Place in N. Tampa. He was found with at least one gunshot wound and transported to the hospital where he later died.

Detectives know of at least two suspects described as black males who were seen fleeing from the scene on foot. Detectives are asking for anyone who may have any knowledge of this incident or who may know the identity of the suspects to please call 813-247-8200 or Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspects in this case.
