WATCH VIDEO: Suspects sought in armed robbery of Tampa hotel

TAMPA, Fla (WFLA) – Tampa police are asking for your help finding two men who robbed a hotel at gunpoint early Monday morning. The robbery was recorded by the hotel’s surveillance cameras.

The video shows the two masked suspects walking into the Baymont Inn at 3001 University Dr. at 1:57 a.m.

One suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The other suspect can be seen jumping over the counter and stealing cash right out of the drawer. Moments later, both suspects ran out the front door.

Police searched on the ground and from the air, but were not able to locate the suspects.

The suspects are described as black males between 18 and 20 years old with thick builds. One had a gray mask covering his face and was wearing a tan, long-sleeved jacket and black pants. The second suspect was wearing a dark, hooded jacket with black and white shorts.
