Suspect sought in Manatee homicide

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (WFLA) – Deputies are conducting a homicide investigation that occurred around 11:45 Saturday in Bradenton.

Kevin McCants, 27, was shot and killed in the roadway of the 1000 block of 33rd Avenue East.

After firing the shots, witnesses in the area say four black males fled the scene in a black Toyota Camry. Deputies issued an arrest warrant for Robert Eugene Brewer, 20, for murder in second degree. He is considered armed and dangerous.
