Suspect search puts 3 Pasco schools on ‘controlled campus’ status

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – A suspect search put three Pasco County schools on controlled campus status on Wednesday morning.

Hudson High, Hudson Middle and Northwest Elementary schools were placed on controlled campus security status, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Pasco sheriff’s deputies were searching for a suspect in the area, which prompted the security change.

The controlled campus statuses were lifted around 11:10 a.m.

No other details have been released.
