Nevada politician’s family wishes you a Merry Christmas with firearms

LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas Assemblywoman Michele Fiore is an adamant supporter of the right to bear arms, and is spreading that message in her family’s Christmas card this year.

Fiore, a Republican state representative, is a member of the National Rifle Association, who writes on her website that in her spare time she becomes “proficient with her handguns, rifles and shotguns.” She focuses on “gun ownership and regulations” and Second Amendment rights as some of her defining issues. She even put out a 2016 “2nd Amendment” calendar.

She also highlights her beliefs in her family photo, posted to her Facebook page December 1st, writing: “It’s up to Americans to protect America. We’re just your ordinary American family.-With love & liberty, Michele”

The holiday card features multiple generations of her family, including her adult daughters, their husbands and her grandchildren, in red shirts and jeans standing in front of a tree — all holding firearms, including her 5-year-old grandson.

Many comments on the Facebook photo applauded her, and support her message.
