Some Tampa Bay residents had to work on Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving, St. Petersburg Police Department Officer Lesandro Santiago delivered Thanksgiving dinner to families in need, with the help of local fire agencies. This meal was provided by Lealman Fire Rescue.

TAMPA BAY, Fla (WFLA) — While many Tampa Bay residents dined with their families on Thanksgiving, others were on the job, serving and protecting the community.

On Thanksgiving, St. Petersburg Police Department Officer Lesandro Santiago delivered Thanksgiving dinner to families in need, with the help of local fire agencies. This meal was provided by Lealman Fire Rescue.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies who worked on Thanksgiving had a special meal with their families at Uniform Patrol District III.

A HCSO deputy found some time to spend with kids in his district. He stopped to throw a football with them.

Sarasota Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol Deputy Fandozzi patrolled the waterways and came across a bald eagle. The sheriff’s office shared the amazing photos.
