The Mental Health Crisis in Florida

Here in Florida, our state mental hospitals are supposed to be safe and reliable places to treat those who are dangerous to themselves and others.But a series recently published in the Tampa Bay Times has uncovered years of neglect and worse yet, violent attacks on caregivers and more. One of the reporters, Anthony Cormier, who co-wrote the series “Insane.
